Jan Nel (19**-). Theatre technician.
Biography
He trained as a teacher at the University of Pretoria. After four years as a teacher he left for Germany where for nearly eight years he worked and studied at the Hesse State Theatre in Wiesbaden. Here he obtained the highest German qualification in theatre technology.
In February 1974 he joined the staff of the Nico Malan Theatre Centre as Head of the Stage Division.
