The Silent System is a farce in one act by Thomas J. Williams (1824-1874)[1].

1870: Performed as The Silent System in the Institute Assembly Hall, Cape Town, by The Young Men's Institute and Club Dramatic Company on 24 May, with Living Too Fast (Troughton).
