H.B. Thom Theatre is the theatre built for the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department in 1966, and was named after the then incumbent rector of the University, Prof H.B. Thom.
Revamped and enlarged in 2016-2017, reopened in 2018, the new multi-facility theatre centre was renamed after the South African poet, playwright and academic, Adam Small.
