De Wet: Two Plays is a collection of two English plays by Reza de Wet (1952-2012).
Published in the series Oberon Modern Playwrights by Oberon Books in 2007, it contains Fever, (a revised version of A Worm in the Bud) and Concealment.
Set in England’s colonial outposts in South Africa during the 19th century, both of the plays in this volume feature sisters forced by a deeply conservative, patriarchal society to resist the powerful call of their vivid surroundings and to stifle the demands of their own rich, feminine sexuality.
Also available in a Kindle edition.
For details of the individual plays, go to the relevant entries.
