According to an interview with Herschelle Benjamin (2018), her satirical cabaret work is concerned with "xenophobia, the case of the Palestinians, Islamophobia" and the "dangerous rhetoric surrounding minority groups in South Africa".
Her debut cabaret, Valencia, written and performed in 2016, won the kykNET Fiesta award for best upcoming artist in 2019. A longer version of Valencia made its debut at the Vrystaat Kunstefees 8-14 July, 2018.
