Tante Trui, Een Liefdesgeschiedenis ("Aunt Trui, A history of love") is a popular Dutch one-act farce by an author identified simply as Arnold.
Also referred to simply as Tante Trui.
A popular name in Dutch, the word "trui" actually means "jersey" or "pullover"(also in Afrikaans), though it is more likely that the name "Trui" is here used as an abbreviated form for a full name such as "Gertruida".
