P. Faddegon (fl. 1860-1890) was a Dutch speaking citizen of Cape Town, and an amateur playwright and actor.

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

A member of the Cape Town based rederijkerskamer called Aurora II (1866-1887), he both acted for them and wrote some Dutch plays, including Huzaar en Pandoer (a translation) and Het Testament voor eene Slavin ()

He would later become a leading figure in the Kamer de Eendracht (1876-1883), a transitional organization performing under the motto "Door Oefening wordt de kunst verkregen" ("art is attained through practice"), when internal strife arose in Aurora II.
