Biography
She became a lecturer in Latin at the University of Stellenbosch and retired as Associate Professor in the Department of Antique Studies at the University of Stellenbosch in 2001, and keeping the title Associate Professor Emerita.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Besides writing a number of articles on the play, she also translated N.P. van Wyk Louw's Afrikaans verse play Germanicus into English. It was published as N.P. Van Wyk Louw: Germanicus translated and with an introduction in London by Dragonfly eBooks[1] in 2013.
