George Makanya (19**-) Actor and director[?*] **
In Cape Town he teamed up with Teda de Moor to found the Bantu Theatre Company. The company made frequent appearances in the Little Theatre until De Moor left Cape Town and the company to some extent, ran out of material. They toured with Hugh Tracey’s Chief Above, Chief Below in 1952.
