Performed at the theatre Royal, Haymarket, in 1836. Published by John Cumberland, 1839, and as Issue 124 of French's minor drama 187*?

Performance history in South Africa
1842 Performed in the Garrison Theatre, Cape Town by the Garrison Players on 9 June, and repeated 15 June. Accompanied by Love, Law and Physic (Kenney) and Love in Humble Life (Payne). Performers included D. M'Donald, Mr Wellesley and Mr Priestly.
