Pizarro is the title of a 1799 English melodrama by Richard Brinsley Sheridan, adapted from the German play Die Spanier in Peru oder Rollas Tod by Augustus von Kotzebue (1796).
The shortened title "Pizarro" is often also found in reviews and other sources to refer to the longer titles of Dutch, English, and other translations of the Von Kotzebue play, as well it seems , to the original German play.
