He has changed direction quite dramatically from his film and television roles which include 37 Honey Street, If This Be Treason, Len in Isidingo, seven international films and television such as Black Velvet Band for Yorkshire Television. For Pieter Toerien he has appeared on stage in A Song at Twilight, Amy's View (1999) and Things You Shouldn't Say Past Midnight (2000). In 2005 he played in Butterflies are Free.
