Not Bloody Likely was written by English actor and playwright Richard Huggett (1929-2000) [1]. He also wrote The First Night of Pygmalion which depicts backstage events during the first British production of George Bernard Shaw's play Pygmalion including the controversy surrounding the line "not bloody likely". It appears that the play Not Bloody Likely is another version of the same set of events.
Performance history in South Africa
Not Bloody Likely was presented by Toerien-Firth Company at the Intimate Theatre, Johannesburg in 1975 starring British actor Maxine Audley and Richard Huggett, directed by Laurier Lister.
