Dr P. Tack (18*-19*). Academic, elocutionist and director. Born in Germany.

He was a lecturer in German at the University of Cape Town during the 1930s, he was also an excellent elocutionist. He on occasion directed theatrical works, i.a. for Kaapstadse Afrikaanse Toneelvereniging, even though he had little command of Afrikaans. These include Die Seeman (Malherbe, 1934).
