He was a BA Dramatic Arts student at Wits.


Career

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Lindani performed in a number of student productions, including Raisin in the Sun, Oh What a Lovely War!, Cabaret and The Suit.

Theatre performances as a professional actor include a British and American tour with Marabi, a South African tour with West Side Story and a European tour with the Soweto Dance Theatre.

Other productions include Summer Holiday (1998), Play@Risk (2001), Love, Crime and Johannesburg, Five Guys Named Moe, Who Really Freed Nelson? (2004), Green Man Flashing (2005), Ain't Misbehavin' (2006), Soweto Story (Opperman, 2007).

Awards, etc

He was nominated for a Vita Award (Gauteng region) best performance in musical theatre, award period 1999/2000, for Love, Crime and Johannesburg.
