Das Thal von Almeria ("the valley or dale of Almeria") is a one act German play by August von Kotzebue (1761-1819)[1]

Das Thal von Almeria or also written Das Tal von Almeria. First performed 1811.

Translations and adaptations

Translated into Dutch as Het Dal van Almeria by J.S. van Esveldt Holtrop, Amsterdam, 1812.

Performance history in South Africa

1825: performed as a two-act comedy in Cape Town on 10 September, by the children's company Tot Oefening en Smaak, probably directed by Joseph Suasso de Lima. With De Verjaring (Anon.) and De Nachtwacht (Körner)
