Petronella Baard is a professional singer, cabaret artist, writer and performer.

She studied drama at the University of Stellenbosch. In 2015 she completed Pan-African Cultural Entrepreneurship course, hosted by the African Arts Institute (AFAI) in collaboration with the Cape Craft and Design Institute.

After she had won the national singing competition in 1999, she began a successful career as singer and cabaret artist, touring South Africa with over 15 000 shows in the last 15 years and started connecting people, artists, youth from all backgrounds from the start. She uses her art of singing and music to create unity, education, and better communication between all races by the power of cabaret.
