An(t)oniem is a 2013 Afrikaans two-hander play written by Philip Rademeyer and Penelope Youngleson.

Twee jongmense sit elk voor ʼn rekenaar en fantaseer oor ʼn sielsgenoot om die eensaamheid te verdryf, en begin dan aanlyn na die ideale maat soek. An(t)oniem volg dié 21ste eeuse soektog na hemel op aarde, volmaaktheid en geluk, met ʼn komiese skuinskyk na mense se onderliggende desperaatheid, eensaamheid en verlange. (Woordfees programme note)
Translation of the above: Two young people sit, each at their own computer, and fantasize about a soul mate. To combat their loneliness they start searching online for the ideal partner. An(t)oniem follows the 21st century search for heaven on earth, perfection and happiness, with a comical sideways glance at people's desperation. loneliness and longing.
