The name became part of a series of biting satirical monologues and duologues performed and published in Cape Town by the two men, including Zamenspraak tusschen Limançon een Dichter en een Prozaisch Gaskonjer (De Lima) and De Twee Slakken, of Limaçon, Sen. en Limaçon, Jun. (Boniface) .
