Biography

Contribution to South African theatre

He sold tickets for performances, along with his contemporaries Mr Bourcherville, L. Meurant and J. Riaux and most probably worked with them and the company

On 15 July 1811 he produced a French play in five acts, Asmodée, ou La Philosophie du Díable, with his young students (under 14 years of age) in Cape Town.
