'night, Mother [1] is a 1983 play for two women by American playwright, screenwriter, and novelist Marsha Norman (1947- ) [2].

The play is the winner of the 1983 Pulitzer Prize for Drama [3].

Translated and adapted into Afrikaans under the title Nag Ma by Antoinette Louw and Sandra Prinsloo.

Performance history in South Africa

2012: Nag Ma, the Afrikaans translation, premiered at the Woordfees 2012, first in the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town and then in the Little Libertas Theatre in Stellenbosch, directed by Lara Bye, with Sandra Prinsloo and Antoinette Louw.
