The Dying Screams of the Moon is a play by Zakes Mda.
The original text
Originally created with the working title of The Return, the play was to have been performed had been awarded by DALRO, but due to a shortage of funds the production was cancelled.
The play was finally performed by the North-West Arts Council at Mmabatho, directed by Siphiwe Khumalo, with the title The Dying Screams of the Moon
