She trained at the Boston Old Vic Theatre School and the Royal Ballet School.
Career
Danced professionally in England, Spain, Portugal, France and Australia. Arrived in SA in July, 1968.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
With extensive work in musicals and revues, Claire has appeared in numerous productions.
Performed in The Skinflint, Hair Hair, Sweet Fanny Adams, Best of Birds and Beasts with Robert Kirby, Group Hairier, Manners and Morals, Straight Up, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat (as Potiphar's wife), The Way it Was, Hey Jude, The Archon (with PACT), Christian (for Brickhill/Burke), Mothers and Fathers (for Toerien/Firth), Pyjama Tops' (for Toerien/Firth), Stepping Out (1985-6).
She co-produced and choreographed the revue Tarts.
