His son is the actor Mpho Molepo.
Youth
Matriculated at the Madibane High School
Training
Arthur Molepo was involved in many different aspects of the arts. He performed on stage and screen, sang, composed and sculptured.
He also plays the guitar and harmonica and was involved with the music and lyrics for Sophiatown and Cry Free Mandela the movie.
He was a founder member of the free filmmakers association and is also professionally associated with the Junction Avenue Theatre Company and the Thupelo Arts Project.

He wrote the play Flick of Light (Playscript held by NELM [Collection: SIMON, Barney]: 2003. 90. 252. 2.)
Television dramas include 2020 Orlando East (Pitso Mohomane ), Generations (Busang), Let Heaven Wait (Reverend Dupa), Mshika-shika (Bonsai), Rhythm City (Sydney Shabalala) and Skeem Saam (Captain Malebana).
Feature films include Mapantsula (1987), Tödliche Geschäfte (1991) and Hijack Stories (2000). [1]
