Shirley Firth, Pieter Toerien and Basil Rubin brought him to South Africa to star in Anthony Shaffer’s Sleuth, together with fellow Englishmen Nicholas Amer, and Warren Jenkins, who directed this thriller at the Intimate Theatre, 1970.
