An influential gothic style melodrama in two acts, first performed Theatre Royal Covent Garden 20 April, 1829. Published in London by John Cumberland,1829.

Performance history in South Africa

1850: Performed by Lycett's Company in the Drury Lane Theatre on 24 November with Twice Killed (Oxenford) as afterpiece.
