L’Amour du Venge is a one act ballet anacréontique-pantomime by M. Beaudry which was performed at the Théâtre de Versailles, 21 June 1810, using music by famous composers of the time, and published by J-P Jacob, Versailles, 1810. A version of this text was possibly performed in October-November of the same year in Cape Town by Mr J. Riaux and his pupils in French as Le Nid d'Amour and in Dutch as Het Liefdenest.
