He was the stage manager for Woody Allen’s Don't Drink the Water at The Space in the 1970s.
His Umqwebedu (Barren land) published 1991 is a translation into isiXhosa of André P. Brink's novel in Afrikaans, 'n Droë Wit Seisoen.
