Contribution to South African theatre

1818: Created and danced a new Dance solo on 11 July 1818, as part of a programme presenteds by the Gentlemen Amateurs with the help of Mr Cooke and his company of ladies, in the African Theatre, Cape Town. (The plays performed were Wild Oats by O'Keeffe and Valentine and Orson by Dibdin).

1834: Created and danced a series of characteristic dances with four of his pupils, under the title De Dans der Snyders, ders Koksmaten, der Turken, de Gavotte as part of a the evening's entertainment on 15 November in the African Theatre. The play performed was De Burger Edelman (Moliere/Boniface) performed by Vlyt en Kunst.
