The Cape Illustrated Magazine was a societal and cultural magazine printed and published by Dennis Edwards and Co. (19 Long Sreet, Cape Town)[1]. It appeared from September 1890 (Volume I, part 1) December 1901 (to Volume XII, part 4). One of its regular contributors on theatre matters was W.G. Groom.
