Since then his television engagements have included presenting ''Citylife'' and the local versions of ''Fear Factor'' and ''Idols 2003''. His film roles have included ''Rodrigo'' in the local film version of ''Othello'', a security agent in ''Red Phone'', a college student in ''Citizen Verdict'' and that guy in the recruitment hall in the English film, ''Charlie''. Colin is also one of South Africa's headline stand up comics - he regularly plays in comedy clubs in London and is one of the founder members of ''Comedy Allstars'' (which operates the circuit in the Western Cape). He is presently in pre-production for another independent SA film called ''The Fire Within'' directed by [[Darryl Roodt]].
