Biography

Contribution to South African Theatre, Film, Media and Performance

He was the first student who completed the Diploma for Stage Managers of the University of Stellenbosch in 1967 and on 1 December 1967 he joined the CAPAB Afrikaans drama company as Stage Manager.

Also designed sets and lighting for Koning Lear (1971), Moeder Hanna (1970), Die Ryk Weduwee (1974), Die Koggelaar (1987).

In the early days he also did some acting, appearing in Moeder Hanna (1970),
