Officially written artSMart on the website, the name also appears as ArtSMart, ArtsMart, or Artsmart in various sources at times.

Founded, owned and edited by broadcaster and newspaper columnist Caroline Smart, originally with the help of web management company Durbanet[1] and since 2008 with Webpro[2]. Material from this website also appears nationally in Artslink listings.
