Greek is a play by Steven Berkoff, a retelling of Oedipus Rex by Sophocles.

It was first performed at the Half Moon Theatre in London on 11 February 1980, in a production directed by the author.
Performances in South Africa
1985: First South African performance presented by Baxter Company '85, directed by Mavis Taylor for the Baxter Theatre, opened on 9 May, with David Clatworthy, Mary Dreyer, David Alcock, Belinda Koning. Design by Brian Collins, music by Johan Cloete. This production opened at Upstairs at the Market on 13 August 1986.
1996: Produced for the Baxter Theatre by John W. Slemon, and directed by Fred Abrahamse with Duncan Rayne Lawson, Mark Hoeben, Bianca Amato and Terry Norton. The production opened on 21 March, with decor and lighting by Brian Collins. This production was also presented at the National Arts Festival Fringe in July 1996, with the same cast.
