Written in 2004 it is about three women battling with both the demands of the modern woman in the new millennium and those of their past.


Translations and adaptations

In 2011 the SABC made the stage play into a television mini-series, which was expanded into a full television season of 26 episodes in 2014.

2004: First staged in the Barney Simon Theatre at the Market Theatre in June 2004, directed by Clare Stopford, with Portia Gumede (Nontobeko), Lara Monamodi (Yoliswa) and Bawinile Ntshaba (Lefika).

2005: Performed at the Market Theatre, directed by Clare Stopford with Portia Gumede (Nontobeko), Bawinile Ntshaba (Lefika), Busi Lurayi (Yoliswa)
