Two years with PACT Playwork, and later with the main PACT company in productions of The Three Sisters, Twaalfde Nag ( Twelfth Night), The Cherry Orchard, and Charley se Tante (Charley's Aunt. Gradually became well known for his film and TV work, including the films Stander , and Afrikaans television drama series such as Vyfster (1984), Egoli, Dryfsand (2007), Erfsondes (2008).
