Guinea Fowl: Images of Africa, by Ian Roberts. Ultimately a parallel to human life, Guinea Fowl is the story of five birds and how man treats and destroys them.

The cast: Henry Goodman as Dada , Fiona Ramsay (Memi), Hilary Jones (Dudu), Bryoni Mortimer (Moni), Fred Abrahamse (Preki), Lammie Shoba, Neil McCarthy, Joko Scott, Ian Roberts. Set design and construction and mask design and construction by Fred Abrahamse, movement Henry Goodman, costume design Birrie le Roux. Stage manager Merle Pretorius.

1999: Directed by Roberts, featuring Patrick Ndlovu, at the National Arts Festival Fringe, 1999.
