Holds a Bachelor of Journalism combined with an Honours degree in Drama from Rhodes University Drama Department.


Career

On leaving unversity he was first contracted to PACT Education

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Musical theatre highlights include lead roles in productions of Broadway musicals: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; Buddy! The Buddy Holly Story; Evita; Cabaret; Peter Pan; Jesus Christ Superstar as well as South African musicals : Scribble, Antjie Somers and Fiela’s Child - The Musical. He appeared in Kevin Feather's musical revue Pure Diamond.

He co-directed the Rhodes University Drama Department Mini-Fest production of Oh Dad, Poor Dad, Mamma's Hung You in the Closet and I'm Feelin' So Sad with Calum Stevenson at the Rhodes University Theatre in August 1991.

He directed the Rhodes University Drama Department Honours student production of Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead in 1993.
