Nan Hamilton (19**- ). South African actress.

Training

Studied at the University of Cape Town Drama Department. She was in the Honours class at the Rhodes University Drama Department in 1995.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Active in South African theatre, television and film from 1984 to 2000.

She participated in productions of the University of Cape Town Drama Department as stage manager of Personal Column (1985) and acting in Die Kaalkop Prima Donna (1987) and Pale Souls (1988).

She co-wrote and performed in The Myth of the Metal Finger (1991).

During her time at the Rhodes University Drama Department she directed Ghost Dance and acted in A Woman of No Importance (1995).
