Biography
Born in Cape Town.
Training
She matriculated from the Johannesburg Art, Ballet, Drama and Music School. She trained and graduated from UCT Drama School with a Performer's Diploma in 1995.
Career
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Her work as a student includesTwelfth Night, Asjas Passie, Blood on the Cat's Neck. Her debut on the professional stage was as Elizabeth in Elizabeth. She acted in Turkish Delights, Lovborg's Women, Once Upon a Laugh, Noises Off, Dancing at Lughnasa, London Road, Fiela’s Child – The Musical .
Awards, etc
Won the 1995/96 Cape regional FNB/Vita award for best actress in Elizabeth. She won the Edinburgh Fringe Festival best actress award in 2013 for her role in London Road.
