Gomorrah! is a 1997 play workshopped by students of the Market Theatre Laboratory and directed by Pule Hlatshwayo, with Thandi Makhubela, Harriet Manamela, Josephine Maphutha, Mpho Molepo, Dumsane Phakati and Mncedisi Shabangu - set in Alexandra township, a look at young gangs, carjackers and other criminals.

Performance history in South Africa

1997: First staged in the Laager at the Market Theatre in April. This production was also staged at the National Arts Festival Fringe, directed by Pule Hlatshwayo.

Performance history abroad

Performed in Stockholm, Sweden as part of an exchange programme between the Market Theatre and the Stockholm Stadsteater
