Training and career
Studied at the Rand Afrikaans University and the University of Johannesburg. Lectured in communications studies at the University of Johannesburg and the University of the North West.
Contribution to South African theatre and performance
He began to perform professionally as a stage magician in 1988, performing throughout South Africa since then.
Besides performing , he has also made an academic study of, and has published academic papers on, the nature of the magician's art and the impact of technology on the art form.
