Performance history in South Africa
1970: Staged in September 1970 by Libertas Theatre Club in Stellenbosch, directed by Marie van Heerden, with Paul Day (Howard), Sharon Montgomery (Julie), Jean McDonald (Karen), Gerhard Roux (Inspector Davies), Fred Stephens (Will), Cathy Evans (Stella) and Brenda von Memerty (Miss Cunningham).
1972: In November 1972 CAPAB sent Marie van Heerden to stage and direct Something to Hide for The Dramatic Society of East London in the Guild Theatre (EL). In the cast were Don Hay-Whitton (Howard), Pat Howard (Julie), Hazel Pretorius (Karen), Cawood Meaker (Inspector Davies), Keith Konopka (Will), Patricia Pike (Stella) and Freda Ruddick (Miss Cunningham).
