Training
Graduated from the University of Cape Town, 1992 with a Performer's Diploma in Speech and Drama (with distinction)
Career
Joined CAPAB Drama Company in December 1992.

Jana has appeared in The Two Gentlemen of Verona directed by Ralph Lawson (1993), The Importance of Being Earnest directed by Ralph Lawson (1993), Iras in Antony and Cleopatra directed by Marthinus Basson, Chloë Coverly in Arcadia directed by Roy Sargeant (1993), A Far Country (1993-4), Miranda in The Tempest (1994), Fiona in Plastics (1994), Cecily in Travesties directed by Roy Sargeant (1994), Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream (1994), Amy's View (1999), Strangers on a Train (1999), Killing Time (2000).
Other productions include Crime Babies, Drif, Kringe in 'n Bos, Hysteria, The Ghost Sonata and Braaivleis (the play).
