Training
Studied drama in the United Kingdom.
Career
From 2009-2012, he lived in Durban, South Africa, initially teaching at Durban Girls' High School.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He moved to free-lance theatre work with renowned Durban dramatist Bheki Mkhwane. Together, they created a new play entitled Belly of the Beast. From 2010 to 2012 he also wrote for the Johannesburg based arts magazine CityLife, run by Edward Tsumele. His regular column focused on new artistic work and the challenges facing young artists in the SA arts industry.
He became the artistic director of Theatre Ithwasa
He directed Fame, the Musical, presented by Durban Girls' High School, from 3 to 7 August 2010 and Belly of the Beast, presented by Just in Time Productions at The Playhouse, Durban, from 7 June 2011.
