His research displays a broad interest in the study and analysis of the South African tangible and non-tangible cultural heritage; heritage and cultural tourism; heritage and cultural tourism and the life on commando during the South African War 1899-1902 (including the spiritual, intellectual and physical experience of the Afrikaner during the South African War.)
