1979: The play's World Premiere was presented by Pieter Toerien Productions by arrangement with Bill Kenwright, opening 7 June 1979 at the André Huguenet Theatre. The director was visiting director Peter Farago and it starred Richard Todd and Jack Hedley. This production was later staged at the Baxter Theatre.
