Belinda Koning (1964- *), actress, singer.

Biography

She studied at the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department, early 1980s. She eventually settled in England.

Career

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Roles in The Dybbuk (1984), Greek (1985-6), Kvetch (as Donna) at the Baxter Theatre in 1988, Gwendolyn in The Importance of Being Earnest for CAPAB, Dora Bailey in Singin' in the Rain and in Aap in die Mou (Deon Opperman).

In January 1988 se replaced Elzabé Zietsman in a production of SABS Approved (a musical journey through South Africa, punctuated with satirical and serious dramatic sketches which highlight the contrasts in our sociely) at the Baxter Theatre.

Awards
