Performance history in South Africa

Produced at the 1999 National Arts Festival with Nomsa Nene, Thami Baleka, Bheki Vilakazi, Nakedi Ribane, Mncedisi Shabangu in the cast. Directed by Lara Foot Newton, scenographer Catherine Henegan, lighting design by Richard Barnes, directorial collaboration and movement specialist Lionel Newton, scenographic collaboration Brian Webber, music collaboration Zenzi Mbuli.

The same production was staged in the Barney Simon Theatre at the Market Theatre from 27 July to September 1999. Directed: Lara Foot. Cast : Nomsa Nene, James Ngcobo, Nakedi Ribane, Bheki Vilakazi, Mncedisi Shabangu, Nomathamsanqa Baleka.
