The original text
A play about the husband and sister of the recently deceased Miranda, who have a clash of wills because of their very different ideas of who Miranda was. First performed in 1945.
The unpublished typescript held in CESAT collection, National Film and Video Archives, Pretoria (no 555/031).

Performance history in South Africa
1945: First performed by the Johannesburg Repertory Society (Johannesburg Reps) on 26 August in the Carlton Hotel Ballroom.
1968: Presented by the Queenstown Theatrical Society.
